SRAC Technical Training Institute (STTI)

is a skills development and vocational training institution established in 2020 with the vision of creating a skilled, productive, and self-reliant workforce in Bangladesh. The institute was founded in response to the growing demand for quality technical education, employable skills, and livelihood opportunities for youth, women, and disadvantaged communities.

Bangladesh is experiencing rapid economic growth and industrial expansion, creating an increasing demand for skilled human resources both nationally and internationally. However, a significant portion of the population, particularly rural youth, women, and economically disadvantaged groups, often lack access to quality technical and vocational education. Recognizing this challenge, SRAC established the Technical Training Institute to bridge the skills gap and enhance employability through competency-based training and practical learning opportunities.

SRAC Technical Training Institute provides market-oriented training programs in various trades, including information technology, computer applications, baking and food processing, electrical installation and maintenance, tailoring and dress making, caregiving, hospitality services, entrepreneurship development, and other demand-driven occupations. The institute emphasizes hands-on practical training, professional ethics, workplace readiness, and entrepreneurship skills to ensure that trainees are prepared for both employment and self-employment opportunities.

The institute works closely with government agencies, private sector employers, development partners, and community stakeholders to align its training programs with labor market needs. Through its modern training methodologies, qualified instructors, and learner-centered approach, SRAC Technical Training Institute aims to improve the socio-economic conditions of trainees by equipping them with relevant skills and competencies.

In addition to technical training, the institute promotes inclusive development by encouraging the participation of women, youth, persons with disabilities, and other marginalized groups.
